We have been receiving a number of reports that Kaspersky Anti-virus has been deleting Secure eBook files declaring they are infected with the worm "Worm.Win32.Kolab.apke"

We have investigated this issue and determined that Kaspersky has been agressively deleting all Secure-eBook files it could find including ours.

We have been in contact with the makers of Secure-eBooks and they confirm that there are no viruses or worms of any kind in their software.

"It is a false positive. Kaspersky is unfortunately known for giving false positive."

SOLVED:
If you are using Kaspersky software and your eBook has been deleted, simply download your eBook again as the issue has now been corrected by Kaspersky.

Due to an important software update, all customers of our Windows version (Secure eBook) need to download their eBook again.

When you start your eBook, you may see two error message. You do not need to perform the update procedure suggested by those messages, we recommend simply downloading your eBook again to obtain the latest version.

This is a free update to fix some technical problems. The contents of the eBooks have not changed.

In order to download our eBook again, we recommend clicking on the link in the eMail sent to you when you originally ordered the eBook. If you cannot locate that eMail, you can also download your eBook from our website.

Once you have downloaded the eBook file again, the eBook will work again as normal. You do not need to enter your key again, if the eBook had already been activated on your computer.

If you have downloaded your eBook on or after July 29, 2011, you can ignore this message.

I number of customers have reported problems downloading our eBooks successfully. In order to address this, we have now provided much more detailed instructions on how to download and open our Secure eBooks.

This also addresses the "Seek failed" problem some Vista users were reporting (see also FAQ page for more on this)

Up until now, we were asking customers who wanted to upgrade from the Frequency Directory to the Rife Handbook, or alternatively wanted to increase the number of download licenses, for their original Invoice # (starts with MBAL).

This led to a lot of confusion and support enquiries so we have now changed the system.
